SONIC Multi-Unit Leader

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure quality food, cleanliness, safety, and efficiency, providing guests with an enjoyable experience. Job duties include:

  • Managing, training, and coaching General Managers and conducting management orientation.
  • Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.
  • Overseeing employees and management in performing duties across various stations to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensuring compliance with the employee handbook, policies, and practices.
  • Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly.
  • Reviewing work schedules to ensure proper staffing.
  • Monitoring cost control procedures for food, labor, and inventory, and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Auditing employment and payroll records.
  • Focusing on guest needs and responding to escalated requests or complaints.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
  • Approving compensation levels within company guidelines.
  • Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
  • Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
    • Minimum three years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
    • Multi-unit supervision experience required.
    • Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and employment laws.
    • Leadership, communication, basic accounting, and computer skills.
    • Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
    • Adherence to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
