First level management. Typically supervises one or more areas of a department. Supervises two or more professional and support staff, overseeing their daily activities. Does not usually have the authority to hire, fire, or promote, but provides input on these decisions. Focuses on employee management. May coordinate business aspects such as strategy, project management, budget planning, and financial operations.

Additional Job Details

An Associate's degree from an accredited institution and five years of radiologic work experience, including three years in three or more radiographic modalities, are required. Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure with the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association are mandatory. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross is required.
