Multi-Line Insurance ProducerJob Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Multi-Line Insurance Producer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing expert advice on small business commercial, personal, farm and life insurance products. The Multi-Line Insurance Producer plays a vital role in driving revenue growth for the agency by acquiring and retaining clients. Their success directly influences the agency's core revenue, profitability, client retention rates, and market position. This role demands a combination of sales acumen, product knowledge, relationship building skills, and a thorough understanding of the insurance industry to succeed in a competitive environment. We are looking for someone that can be a trusted advisor, with the ability to assess and address varying degrees of client needs while producing consistent business results. Responsibilities:New Business:
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively generate new business in personal lines, small business, farm, and life insurance through self-sourcing, call-ins, and website inquiries.
  • Client Data Collection: Gather necessary information from clients to facilitate accurate quoting for all lines of business.
  • System Entry & Data Management: Use developed intake forms and accurately enter client information into Epic, ensuring all pipeline opportunities are properlytracked in Epic Opportunities and HubSpot.
  • Carrier Interaction & Quoting: Request quotes from multiple carriers for applicable lines of business, aiming to consolidate as many lines of business with one carrier whenever possible.
  • Policy Issuance: Obtain signed applications and applicable down payments to bind coverage.
  • Internal Transfer: Provide background information to the Small Business Unit (SBU) or Farm Account Manager (AM) upon completion of new business and transfer for ongoing service.
  • Monoline Policies: Avoid writing monoline policies unless supported by business from other departments.
  • Collaboration: Work with and refer opportunities to other lines of business sales team members when required.
Customer Renewal Management:
  • Client Meetings: Meet with customers as needed to review and discuss policy renewals, ensuring all coverage remains adequate and up-to-date.
  • Information Collection: Work with Account Managers to collect additional client information, such as photos or supplemental forms, to ensure accurate renewals.
  • Remarketing: Propose remarketing options to clients where appropriate, offering them better coverage options and pricing.
  • Policy Retention: Secure signed applications and necessary down payments for renewals.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Insurance Producer, Account Manager, or similar role in the insurance industry.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Property & Casualty License, or the ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment
  • Valid Pennsylvania Life & Health Insurance License, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Understanding of personal, small commercial, farm, and life insurance products.
  • Familiarity with quoting and underwriting processes.
  • Proficiency in insurance management software (Applied Epic), CRMs (i.e., HubSpot) and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to generate multi-line insurance opportunities and close deals.
  • Ability to handle multiple client requests and opportunities simultaneously and turn them around in a short period of time.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Local travel will be required.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, as permitted by law.
