GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB
Our Multi Family Project Manager is a senior-level leader who drives performance across high-value, complex multi-family and commercial projects. This person is a technical expert in drywall and paint with deep experience managing multiple jobs, teams, and clients. As a client-facing leader and mentor, the Multi Family PM plays a strategic role in strengthening client relationships and elevating team performance across the Commercial Division.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and guidance to PM1s and PM2s
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead high-profile and complex commercial projects from start to finish
- Manage overall performance, budget, schedule, and client satisfaction
- Act as the primary point of contact for key builder/GC relationships
- Provide leadership and guidance to PM1s and PM2s
- Ensure project excellence through planning, execution, and closeout
- Support strategic planning and continuous improvement in operations
- Partner with field operations to ensure seamless execution across teams
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; or relevant practical experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial drywall/paint
- Proven leadership on large-scale, multi-family, or mixed-use projects
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to maintain long-term partnerships
- Mastery of Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel
- Mentorship mindset and ability to lead by example
- Strong financial and risk management skills
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Requires strong analytical thinking, decision-making under pressure, and the ability to lead teams through complex project challenges.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and navigate active construction sites as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and operate a computer and standard office equipment for extended periods.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
- This position operates primarily in an office environment with regular visits to active construction sites, which may expose the individual to varying weather conditions, noise levels, and construction activity.
- Travel between job sites, client offices, and company locations is required.
- The role may occasionally require extended hours, including early mornings or evenings, based on project demands and deadlines.
- Travel as needed.
