One to three years' experience with word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software. As a condition of employment, the following are additional requirements:Initial and periodic Motor Vehicle Records checks, maintain a valid driver's license, and maintain a safe driving record. Must have insured, dependable transportation available for daily use.Initial and periodic physical exams required.Must submit to initial and/or periodic state and/or federal criminal checks.Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.Ability to be reached by cellular phone during business hours and after hours.Duties and Responsibilities: Provide hands-on support and coaching for teachers when there are significant behavioral or social-emotional concerns, using trauma-informed practices and Conscious Discipline strategies.Recommend and demonstrate strategies for supporting the children's social-emotional needs in the classroom.Assist Inclusion Team in the Tier 2 targeted connections process and provide assistance to teaching teams.Facilitate team meetings to ensure all component areas are consulted.Coordinate with Mental Health Specialist as appropriate to provide strategies to teaching teams and families.Conduct and/or assist in staff and parent trainings as requested.File and maintain documentation on all children services and service delivery systems; maintain information of a confidential nature regarding families, disabilities and mental health issues.Assist with completing reports as requested.Other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
