MRI Technologist – Permanent Position

Location: Brattleboro, VT

Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (32 hours/week)

Shift Type: Days

Position Overview:

HumanEdge Health is seeking a permanent MRI Technologist to join a leading healthcare facility. Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Medical Director, the MRI Technologist will independently perform MRI procedures at a technical level under limited supervision. This role requires independent judgment, initiative, and a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols.

The Department of Radiology provides comprehensive diagnostic services, including radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density, and mammography. Services are offered 24/7 to inpatients, outpatients, and emergency patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Apply independent judgment and critical thinking during exams
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
• Assist with departmental quality control, quality assurance monitoring, and patient/staff education

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology – Required
• Previous MRI experience in a hospital setting – Required
• ARRT Registry – Required
• MRI Registry – Required
• CPR Certification – Required
• Venipuncture Certification – Required (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)
• At least 2 recent supervisory references – Required
