Casual, 0-16 hours per pay period Department hours Monday-Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm and occasional Saturdays. The MRI Technologist utilizes magnetic resonance imaging scanners to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis. Must be able to closely follow physicians' instructions, prepare and operate MRI equipment, position patients correctly, and effectively record the requested diagnostic images. This position works closely with the MRI Manager, Director and Radiologists to develop, change, and implement protocols to ensure the highest quality of care to our patients and assists the MRI Manager in administration and management of meeting goals and objectives that are set forth by the Mankato Clinic's Board of Directors and Administration. Education and Experience Required:
- Completion of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Must currently have MR Advanced Registry-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
- Current BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of start date.
- Prior IV experience required.
Education and Experience Preferred: A thorough knowledge of medical practice, dedication to patient satisfaction, and an ability to work effectively with all providers, staff and patients.
