MRI Technologist - integrated resources : Job Details

Job Title: MRI Technologist Job Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373 Job Duration: 3-4 Months(possibility to extension) Shift: Weekdays: 1:00PM - 9:00PM; Weekends: 4:00PM - 12:00AM Pay Range: $67 - $69/hr. on w2 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs MRI procedures ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and adherence to standards.
• Screens patients for MRI safety and explains procedures clearly.
• Operates MRI equipment, adjusting parameters for optimal diagnostic imaging.
• Positions patients and uses immobilization devices appropriately.
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, and safety of MRI suite and scanners.
• Conducts image quality checks, documents procedures in EMR, and ensures proper image labeling.
• Collaborates with radiologists and team members and supports equipment maintenance and inventory.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associate's degree from a Radiologic Technology program - Required.

Licensure & Certifications:

• Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license - Required.
• Certification and registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from ARRT or ARMRIT - Required.

Preferred Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) - Preferred.

Required Skills & Experience:

• One (1) year of MRI experience - Required.
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center - Required.
• Knowledge of GE and Philips equipment - Required.

Schedule Notes:

• Alternating weekends and holidays required.
• Two weeks of training (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) including EPIC class.

Interview:

• In-person interview preferred.
• Virtual may be considered if not local.
