MRI Technologist - ARRT Key Responsibilities: - Perform MRI scans following physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adhering to safety regulations
- Monitor patients during procedures, providing clear communication and reassurance
- Assess image quality and collaborate with radiologists for accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications: - Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- Current ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent (registry-eligible candidates must obtain certification within one year of hire)
- Active, unencumbered Oregon MRI license (new graduates must obtain a permanent license within one year)
- BLS certification required
- ARRT RT(R) credential preferred
- Prior experience in a hospital setting is a plus
- Strong knowledge of MRI equipment operation, safety protocols, and imaging techniques
