Exciting Opportunity for an MRI Imaging Specialist!

This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and is a full-time evening shift from Monday to Thursday, 12:30 PM to 11 PM. You will also participate in a rotating on-call schedule every other week. If you are a skilled MRI Technologist with a passion for patient care, we want you to join our team!

As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will operate state-of-the-art magnetic resonance scanners to capture high-quality images for physician diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise will directly impact patient care and outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Archive raw data to ensure optimal image quality, develop films using an automatic processor, and ensure the films meet diagnostic standards.

• Prepare and ensure patients are ready for the procedure, including transferring and positioning them correctly, while providing clear instructions to achieve desired diagnostic results.

• Educate and demonstrate MRI operation techniques to students and staff, and address any equipment issues promptly.

• Manage the control console for scans, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, inputting patient data, and monitoring the data acquisition process throughout the procedure.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant specialty experience, such as CT scanning.

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• Licensed in Maryland or hold an (MR) ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance ARRT (MR) certification.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
