Mounting Machine Operator - Staffmark Group : Job Details

Staffmark is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mounting Machine Operator to join our client's team in Marietta, GA. In this role, you'll play a key part in the printing process by accurately mounting corrugated printing plates to carrier sheets according to customer specifications.Pay Rate: $21.00/hourShift: 2nd Shift - Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PMResponsibilities* Review job tickets and instructions to determine job requirements* Accurately mount plates using pin-mount technology and ensure all materials meet customer specifications* Operate mounting equipment including optical devices, sticky-back applicators, sewing machines, metal shears, and cutting/drill tables* Inspect plates for defects or blemishes prior to mounting* Complete assigned tasks in the order entry system and ensure proper tracking of jobs and materials* Operate a forklift if necessary (training provided)* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area* Adhere to all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and company policies* Communicate effectively with other shifts to ensure smooth job handoffs* Attend all required training and meetings* Perform additional tasks as directed by managementQualifications* High school diploma or GED required* Previous experience with photopolymer plate mounting preferred* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions* Comfortable operating various machinery and working in a production environment* Willingness to work overtime as neededWhy You'll Love This Job:We offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your health, financial goals, and work-life balance.
