Mountain West Administrative Specialist

The Mountain West Administrative Specialist will support the Mountain West Send Network team with daily administrative tasks and complete tasks and projects to support the Mountain West Region.

Key Areas Of Responsibility

1. Provide general administrative support for the Send Network field leaders in the Mountain West Region with specific responsibilities focused on Send Cities (Phoenix, Denver and Salt Lake City) and their staff.

  • Schedule and support meetings, trainings, and special events to include reserving space, preparation of materials, and coordination of logistics.
  • Oversee and submit missionary requests and renewals in the MAP platform.
  • Complete budgeting and/or financial tasks including Workday expenses, reimbursements, and budget tracking.
  • Assist employees and non-employees with travel reservations.
  • Conduct basic research to support the needs of field leaders.
  • Monitor and track assessment of candidates through the pre-assessment process.
  • Assist field leaders with missionary housing support.
  • Respond to basic requests for information and routine questions.

2. Provide specialized administrative support for Mountain West Region.

  • Collect and compile data for regular reporting including Missionary Dashboard data, Endorsed Missionary data, SBC IDs, and other reports as requested by the Regional Director.
  • Submit funding and reimbursement requests on behalf of the Mountain West (specifically for Send City) team including stipends, honorariums, travel reimbursements, etc.
  • Monitor and report planter Quarterly Reporting compliance for field leaders.
  • Provide research and demographic support for regional projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations and activities for regional meetings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all events in the Mountain West Region.
  • Manage the entire Mountain West social media strategy.

3. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by the Regional Director.

Education And Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or three or more years' related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
