A Mortgage Processor is a critical member of our Mortgage Team and is responsible for processing mortgage loan applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review all necessary mortgage documents, including loan applications, disclosures, and closing documents.
  • Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors to gather the required information and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation. Ensure all documents meet legal and regulatory requirements, including those related to appraisals, title commitments, and insurance.
  • Input and update loan information in the bank's processing system.
  • Communicate with customers to collect additional information and provide updates on the loan status.
  • Maintain organized and accurate loan files, tracking the status of documents and ensuring timely processing.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage processing or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent Customer Service.
  • Team Player.
  • Excellent Time Management and Organizational Skills, and the ability to multi-task.
