Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mortgage and Business Services Manager to join our Member Experience Department in Ashland, KY.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead Department Operations & Member Experience: Provide strategic and daily leadership for the Mortgage and Business Services departments, ensuring members receive exceptional service. Oversee member interactions and use of omnichannel tools to enhance experiences.
  • Data Analysis & Strategic Insights: Develop and analyze reports to identify trends, reduce risk, improve service, and increase profitability.
  • Product Expertise & Development: Serve as the subject matter expert for mortgage and business loan products, recommend enhancements, and support growth objectives.
  • Portfolio Oversight & Risk Management: Review member business loan portfolios, monitor performance, and communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Vendor & Third-Party Relationship Management: Manage relationships with third-party providers, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead hiring, training, performance management, and foster a positive, accountable culture.
  • Policy & Compliance Leadership: Develop and enforce policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and support staff training.
  • Financial Performance Management: Analyze profitability and performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Community Engagement & Brand Advocacy: Represent ACU in the community through events and outreach.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
    • Education & Experience Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
    • Minimum 5 years in financial services retail environment
    • Minimum 2 years in Real Estate Lending
    • Proficient knowledge of mortgage and business lending
    • Understanding of compliance regulations for loans
    Required Skills & Abilities
    • Ability to collaborate and create balanced processes
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Availability Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm EST
