• The incumbent is a member of the healthcare team whose role is to facilitate unit operations through order processing, requisition of services and patient procedures, maintaining accurate and complete patient charts, and managing unit clerical supplies.
• The Monitor Technician may also assist in patient care as assigned.

QualificationsRequirements

• 1 year monitor tech experience (or certification with no experience if staffing supports trainees)
• Basic Cardiac Monitor Certification
• BLS-CPR authorized by the American Heart Association
• Medical terminology course or equivalent knowledge
