JOB SUMMARY: Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:30pm
FISH Laboratory Technologist require expanded knowledge and understanding of laboratory techniques and the ability to perform technical tasks, as assigned, based on specific department needs. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills, be able to multi-task, and have a high level of self-motivation. Good reading, writing, and math abilities are required. Employees are responsible for following all Company policies and procedures. These policies and procedures will include adherence to regulatory standards such as CAP, CLIA and OSHA, including safety standards in performing all aspects of the functions below.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:None MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education: At least 60 hours of relevant college courses (medical laboratory technology, chemistry, biology or cytogenetics) BS degree in a life science related discipline () Experience: Molecular biology experience least one year At least one year FISH or cytogenetics experience () MUST be qualified to perform high complexity testing (See Education requirements listed above) Level I: less than 5 years of relevant work experience II: 6-12 years of relevant work experience III: 13+ years of relevant work experience (Experience to be determined at the discretion of the Molecular Manager) Work Environment:
