Responsibilities Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Modern Workplace Administrator to lead teams that oversee the administration and optimization of our Microsoft 365 environment and enterprise communication (VoIP telephony) systems. This role is critical to ensure a secure, efficient, and collaborative modern digital workplace that supports the organization's operational and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and related enterprise collaboration toolsUse Microsoft Entra ID to manage user identities, licenses, and access controls within the tenantLead the teams responsible for the configuration, support, and lifecycle management of (1) email, and (2) VoIP telephony systems (Ring Central and Nice CXOne), including call routing, number provisioning, voicemail, and device integrationMonitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal service deliveryCollaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to implement and enforce data loss prevention, data retention, and access control policies. Ensure compliance with identity and access management standardsEnsure system issues related to Microsoft 365 and communication services are resolved in a timely and professional mannerContribute to the strategic relationships with Microsoft and other core modern workplace vendorsSupport licensing, budgeting, and cost optimization for the M365 suiteStay informed on Microsoft 365 roadmap developments and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements that align with current and future business needsDrive adoption of M365 tools through targeted enablement, training, and change management strategies, with a focus on enhancing citizen developer capabilities across the companyCollaborate with business groups to drive continuous improvement and optimize employee experience around modern workplace systemsQualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field strongly preferred, but consideration may be given to an exceptional candidate with 10 years relevant work experience At least 6 years relevant work experience required Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and administrative tasksA solid understanding of Microsoft Entra IDExperience leading technology projectsPreferred: 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments in a medium-to-large enterprise environment preferred3+ years of management experience leading a team or managing technical staff preferred Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, or SC-300Experience working with VoIP telephony platformsStrong knowledge of:Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) M365 compliance, governance, and security features Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate needs into scalable digital solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environmentCommitment to continuous learning and professional developmentExperience Level Adjustmnt Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
