Mobility Program Technician - Dignity Health : Job Details

Works under the direction of the Rehab Manager to participate in the development, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing sustainability of the facilitys progressive mobility programs. Provides support to the safe patient handling, rehab, nursing, and respiratory teams to facilitate and coordinate the resources and staff needed to safely engage patients in early and ongoing progressive mobility programs. Assists the facility in establishing a culture of safety by educating staff on the decision-making process related to the utilization of safe patient handling equipment when mobilizing patients. Qualifications. Experience: Two years of direct patient care in the last three years. Experience in providing education, training, and providing care in the acute hospital or critical care settings. Licensure and Certification: Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Certified Nurse Assistant.
