We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Tester to join our QA team in the Bay Area, CA. This is a contract-based opportunity for a professional with at least 10 years of experience in mobile application testing. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence three days per week. Only local candidates will be considered.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of manual and automation testing for iOS and Android platforms, familiarity with a wide range of devices and OS versions, and the ability to identify bugs and usability issues in fast-paced Agile environments.
Required Skills – Mobile TesterMinimum 10 years of mobile app testing experience
Strong proficiency in both manual and automation testing
Experience testing both iOS and Android apps
Familiarity with tools like Appium, Selenium, XCUITest, Espresso
Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail
Agile methodology participation and communication
Device compatibility and cross-platform validation
Execute manual and automated tests on Android and iOS mobile applications
Write and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure functionality and performance
Log bugs and issues accurately and track them to resolution
Validate app behavior across various screen sizes, devices, and operating systems
Conduct performance, regression, and usability testing
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint cycles
Deliver quality releases on tight deadlines
Stay updated with emerging trends in mobile testing frameworks
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
