MIH Coordinator Position Summary The Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Coordinator supports the effective delivery of mobile integrated health services of the healthcare system, and acts as a liaison between emergency medical services and the health system. This position coordinates activities with partners including healthcare, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and community resources to improve healthcare access to underserved and general populations. The position is responsible for ensuring collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders on the MIH program and services. The MIH Coordinator assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care of patients enrolled in the MIH program. The position is responsible for identifying barriers to healthcare, assisting with efforts to reduce readmissions, and facilitate patient education. MIH Coordinator Position Requirements Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or minimum of four (4) years' experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
License and/or Certifications
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Active Maryland and National Registry EMT-P required.
  • Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS) approved MIH-Paramedic required or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS-Healthcare Provider (BLS) and Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Certification as a Certified-Community Paramedic (CP-C) by IBSC required or must obtain within 1 year of hire
Experience
  • Experience in emergency medical services (EMS), public health, nursing, allied health, social work or related areas will be considered.
MIH Coordinator Schedule
  • Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday.
MIH Coordinator Benefits
  • At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.

Salary range:$24.15-$38.65 Commensurate with experience
