• Experience. Previous maintenance and welding experience on industrial or heavy construction equipment (Yellow Iron), including excavators, dozers, backhoes, loaders, and haul trucks. Familiarity with CAT, Empire, Vermeer, Volvo, Deere, Komatsu, etc.
• Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of using electric, gas, arc welding equipment, and servicing heavy construction equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines, hydraulics, and electronics. Must demonstrate knowledge of Tier 4 Finals standards.
• Flexibility. Willing to work overtime and extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills. Knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

The salary is prescribed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement, ranging from $50.59/hr - $60.00/hr. Benefits include health insurance, a pension plan, paid vacation. This position is covered by a union contract.
