$130,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr

Halian Technologies is proud to partner with a leading AI innovation company to recruit an ML Ops Engineer who will play a critical role in scaling the internal tooling and infrastructure that enables fast, reliable deployment of machine learning models.

This is a high-impact role with end-to-end ownership of the model release engine, data foundations, and developer experience. You will help build the internal systems that empower applied research teams to move quickly and deliver value at scale.

Please note: Due to the nature of this work, only U.S. Citizens are eligible to apply. The role requires eligibility for Security Clearance (SC).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate model release and rollback, from training artifact to deployed model, including validation hooks and full versioning.
• Own and maintain MLflow (or equivalent tools) for experiment tracking, model registry, and production promotion.
• Build and maintain a metadata catalog and data access layer that allows engineers to construct tailored datasets through well-documented APIs and tools.
• Develop and maintain internal documentation, CLI tools, Python SDKs, and templated repositories to enable fast onboarding and productivity.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, identify bottlenecks early, and align internal platform development with broader product goals.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in ML Ops or developer infrastructure, including production deployment of machine learning models.
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience, particularly with AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS) and Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Proficiency with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or SageMaker.
• Skilled in designing auditable and discoverable data schemas and APIs for internal teams.
• Strong programming background in Python; familiarity with lower-level languages like C++ is a plus.
• Exceptional documentation habits and ability to keep engineering systems clear, structured, and easy to navigate.
• A mindset focused on automation and tooling to eliminate manual processes and accelerate development cycles.
