The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various machinery and mechanical systems in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities: - Install and align machinery and equipment according to specifications. - Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems. - Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. - Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices. - Perform routine inspections to identify and resolve potential problems. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred. - Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in industrial settings. - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. - Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. - Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed. Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50pounds and perform physical tasks. - Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
