EMPLOYER: Five Rivers Cattle Feeding, LLC JOB TITLE: Mill Manager (Multiple Openings) JOB LOCATION: 10100 FM 998, Hartley, TX 79044 (Hartley County) JOB DUTIES: Responsible for managing feed mill for cattle production operation. Specific duties include: (1) Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; (2) Planning, signing, and directing work for mill employees; (3) Completing performance evaluations, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems; (4) Developing and overseeing mill preventative maintenance program; (5) Monitoring quality control of commodities received through regular inspection; (6) Evaluating and managing quality of finished feed rations by using quality ingredients, following recommendations from consulting nutritionist, and overseeing grain processing; (7) Ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA, and EPA regulations, and maintaining compliance records; (8) Ensuring a safe work environment and communicating safety information to employees by studying historical data, anticipating needs, and researching cost; (9) Managing department supplies inventory by researching cost, designing inventory systems, determining inventory levels, anticipating supply needs, and approving orders; and (10) Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and performing related duties. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree Food Science, Engineering, Agri Business, or related; one year of mill maintenance experience, including specific experience operating, repairing, and maintaining mill equipment.
