Basic Function

Responsible for the procurement of standing timber for the assigned company sawmill(s).

Responsibilities

• Purchase standing timber for the assigned company sawmill(s).
• Maintain records of all contacts with landowners in the company database.
• Assist with the sale of logs not being used in Pike sawmills.
• Perform related work as required and directed by their supervisor.

Certifications/Licenses

• Certified training in Indiana BMPs (preferred)

Physical Requirements for Work (Light Duty)

• Walk over hilly, rough terrain for an entire day (8+ hours)
• Climb, squat, stoop, and twist to maneuver through woods and obstacles
• Push or pull logs or debris
• Drive for 5 or more hours
