Middle QA Engineer - Sombra : Job Details

Our client is a top EdTech company in 2024, specializing in Instructional AI, located in Chicago, Illinois.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of manual QA testing experience
• Experience with backend API testing and frontend testing
• Understanding of microservice architecture, feature flag usage, and testing in similar setups
• Attention to detail and root-cause analysis skills
• Knowledge of WCAG Accessibility standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers

Nice to have:

• SQL knowledge
• Automation experience with JavaScript for frontend and PHP for backend

Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end testing for new features
• Participate in regression testing as needed
• Conduct exploratory testing of the application
• Monitor release quality and perform daily automated regression tests
