The Mid-level Practitioner is responsible for providing health care to patients in the hospital or office setting. The Mid-level Practitioner works in consultation, cooperation and coordination through a collaborative physician. The Mid-level Practitioner functions according to the established standards and practices of medicine for Advanced Practice Nurse/ Nurse Practitioner or Physician s Assistants in the State of Texas. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Master s Degree Minimum Work Experience No previous experience Required Licenses/ Certifications BSN, MSN, ANP, or PA licensed in the state of Texas BSL Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies. Thorough knowledge of patient triage, diagnosis and evidenced-based care.
