Mid-Level Litigation ParalegalLocation: New York, NY Schedule: Full-Time | On-site | Overtime required (evenings, weekends, holidays) What You'll Do:
- Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial prep, and post-trial procedures.
- Conduct cite-checking and verify legal sources, Bluebooking as needed.
- Organize and manage case files and ESI, coordinate document production and review.
- Utilize Relativity for document management (searching, coding, and exporting documents).
- Draft and revise pleadings, discovery documents, and other litigation materials.
- Conduct in-depth legal and factual research using Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg, and other platforms.
- Manage deposition prep, trial notebooks, exhibit binders, and court filings.
- Maintain communication with attorneys, clients, court personnel, and outside vendors.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
- Skills:
- Must have strong cite-checking capabilities.
- Working knowledge of judicial and administrative procedures, litigation terminology, and court rules.
- Proficiency in Relativity is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with iManage, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
