Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Techno- Functional Consultant

Total Experience: 5+ yearsJob Location: WFH / Remote / With opportunity to Travel to Dubai for Short projectsNotice Period: Immediate JoiningNumber of Positions: 4

We are looking for a Techno functional consultant with strong experience in MS D365 Business Central implementations. This person must be confident and willing to jump into a fast-paced environment, where he/she will be given the opportunity to work independently with our UAE / Middle East clients. This position offers opportunities for short-term travel to Dubai.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • D365 Business Central implementation and support responsibility
  • Creating functional requirements and functional specs based on user specification
  • Converting functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents
  • Configuring, developing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ D365 Business Central (BC) software and components in all functional areas
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development
  • Making technical recommendations for installation, modifications, and custom development
  • Planning, designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting Business Central systems.
  • Testing functionality against business requirements
  • Analyzing, documenting, and suggesting system enhancements through communication with users, management, and customers/vendors to meet business goals and satisfy business and technical requirements.
  • Dealing with complex situations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and critical support
  • Maintaining/administering security settings for Business Center users; responsible for overall application security
  • Planning and executing upgrades and releases
  • Assisting sales with modification estimates and presales demos in pursuit of new business
  • Basic understanding of Project management tools like Jira, DevOps
  • Work with client and partner teams to customize Business Central and integrate with legacy / 3rd party systems
  • Ensure compliance with support SLAs
  • Triage for issue resolution
  • Regression testing for D365 upgrades & ensuring customizations are not broken
  • Weekly/Monthly status reporting
Requirements

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Business, Marketing or Engineering preferred)
  • D365 BC certifications will be an added advantage (MB 800)
  • Knowledge of Power Apps/Certifications will be a big plus (MB200)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • 5+ years of Dynamics NAV Business Central Development experience (Techno Functional)
  • Technical design, development, and testing of core Dynamics NAV/ Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) granules and addons
  • Experience with process flows for supporting Finance, Sales, Service, Manufacturing & Supply Chain functions is required
  • Experience working with Dynamics implementation for a manufacturing company will be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of C/AL, and experience with AL.
  • SQL Experience (Setup and Configuration) for NAV 2013 and later
  • Dynamics NAV Web Services
  • Technical design, development, and testing of core Dynamics NAV granules and addons
  • Experience analyzing, coding, developing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics NAV Business Central ERP systems
  • Organizational skills and effective time management to succeed in a semi-autonomous, fast-paced environment
  • Highly effective communication & presentation skills – oral, written and group
  • Strong team player
  • Good communication skills are a must requirement since client interaction is involved
