Microbiology Quality Control Manager | CDMO Fill/Finish

Metric Bio are partnered with a world-leading, very well funded and high growth US-based CDMO as they search for a QC Manager.

Location: On-site - South-West USA. Relocation assistance is available!

This individual will lead operations in a CGMP-compliant lab supporting parenteral drug manufacturing, responsible for environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, contamination control strategies, audits, investigations, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily lab operations, staff management, and shift alignment.
• Serve as SME for microbiological testing and contamination control.
• Oversee environmental monitoring, method transfers, CAPAs, and compliance.
• Review lab data and support regulatory/customer audits.
• Drive continuous improvement and training programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Microbiology or related field.
• 5+ years in CGMP pharma, 2+ years leading teams.
• Strong understanding of aseptic processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven audit readiness and investigation experience.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to shape a high-performing microbiology function within a sterile manufacturing environment.
