Development Microbiologist

Kelly Outsourcing and Consulting is seeking a Development Microbiologist for our client a leading medical device company in Raritan, NJ. Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday

Length of assignment 6 months likely to extend through 2026

Pay $45-50 an hour depending on experience

Must provide your own IT device

• Responsibilities
• R&D testing of new medical devices.
• Ensure the device meets safety and regulatory standard with microbial contamination
• Perform microbiological testing
• Validation experience with microbiological test methods
• Preparing and testing microbiology samples for project per SOPs and approved test methods.
• Log attachment, ZOI, MIC, Growth Promotion,
• Assist in wound care research
• Recording and reporting test results. Reporting OOS/OOT test results and conducting lab investigations.
• Preparing and sterilizing laboratory media and dry goods
• Preparing cultures, performing MIC testing, growth promotions, and other daily lab activities and required documentation Performing lab housekeeping assessments and upkeep of the lab and lab documents. {ex. Manage laboratory supplies, and lab SOPs et.
• Maintains laboratory spaces to be audit ready follow Compliance and EH S procedures with the employee.
• Requirements
• 5 years GXP lab experience experience with Aseptic techniques experience working with bacteria cultures serial dilution technique experience
• Product development experience jn wound care
• BS degree required
