MiCA Regional Philanthropy Director - CommonSpirit Health : Job Details

This is a California centered position. Chosen candidate can live anywhere in CA, preferably between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Local travel to hospitals will be required, but this is a remote position. Job Summary. The System Director Philanthropy plans and implements a comprehensive fundraising program in support of philanthropy's national initiatives. The position will have direct fund-raising and strategic oversight as part of their job portfolio. Essential Key Job Responsibilities. Focuses on Major Gifts; depending upon the Prospect, may be the primary or secondary fundraiser. Develops and oversees the fundraising strategic plan to generate major gifts from individuals, foundations, corporations and grants for system national initiatives for the Santa Cruz, Ventura and Bakersfield areas in California. Manages and builds a portfolio of prospects and donors to build and maintain a prospect and donor base for the Foundation.
