Role Overview

The Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit seeks an experienced Acquisition Professional to lead sourcing and procurement of materials and services, manage supplier performance, and oversee the purchase order lifecycle for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers. This involves managing supplier relationships to support various programs.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and issue RFPs.
  • Place medium-complexity purchase orders complying with FAR/DFAR and corporate policies.
  • Support negotiation strategies and participate in formal negotiations.
  • Perform price and cost analysis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with first-tier subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely PO information.
  • Qualifications
  • University Degree or equivalent with at least 8 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years experience.
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, management, finance, or related fields.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
  • Preferred Skills
    • SAP/PRISM experience.
    • Knowledge of hardware and service requirements, including SOW review.
    • Understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations.
    • Experience with contractual vehicles like Cost Plus, FFP.
