Metrology Technician (Level 1 Or 2) - Oregon Staffing : Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Metrology Technician to join our team. The technician will perform metrology processes to support process tech teams, ensuring accurate measurement of wafers using the correct metrology recipes. This role requires interaction with the shift supervisor for tool release ETA, shift operations, abnormal events, and development, as well as adherence to standard operating procedures. Focus on quality and detail are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Load wafers using instructions from process engineers or technicians to run the recipe using Metrology tools.
• Provide results back to Process Techs once the process is finished.
• Collect data using SharePoint and send pass down to the next shift and to the Process Engineer for the next step.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with Metrology tools such as KLA Tencor SP1, SP3, SP5, XRF, and S100.
• Clean room experience.
• Ability to work the specified shift hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• For Level 1: BS in Chemical Engineering or 1 year of relevant experience, Internship experience in semiconductor industry, Attention to detail verified in references.
• For Level 2: Associates or Degree in Tech or Engineering or more than 1 year of relevant experience, 1+ year experience in Semiconductor tool operation, Attention to detail verified in references.

Work Environment:

The role involves working within the Metrology team to provide comprehensive coverage for metrology tasks across the entire lab. Responsibilities include tracking and reporting daily activities through verbal and written pass downs. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
