Position Summary

The Small Scale Metals Laboratory in the Department of Art seeks student lab monitors to supervise and facilitate open lab hours. Responsibilities include enforcing safety protocols, checking in/out specialty tools, routine cleaning, and lab upkeep during and after open lab hours. Basic knowledge of shop safety practices is required. Scheduling is flexible.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Students must have completed ARTS 157 and ARTS 357.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with casting is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to students with a work-study award.
