We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Headwear Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in merchandising, sales, and marketing.

As global apparel and headwear design and sourcing experts, we help Brands tell their story through high quality, innovative apparel and headwear products. DRI has the resources to ensure a fully integrated and socially compliant approach to our client's creative development, merchandising, and operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall business of assigned account and develop key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with internal design teams for product concepts and seasonal line assortments that meet our customers' needs from both a product strategy and pricing perspective.
• Directly involved in all aspects of product development from initial prototype development through sourcing, price negotiation, and order placement to meet TNA and deadlines.
• Develop, create and manage BOMs with detailed specifications, managing all revisions until the product is production ready. Responsible for system accuracy.
• Present and communicate proposed product assortments to both internal stakeholders and outside customers.
• Work and communicate daily directly with overseas vendors and offices through product development, pricing, sample approval, and production process.
• Responsible for product costing and margin for all assigned accounts.
• Work with internal operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth and time delivery of product.
• Communicating daily with current customers on product needs, tracking of orders, costing of product, and development of merchandising calendars.
• Mentoring and training junior team members, when applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of related apparel/headwear product development experience.
• Experience and knowledge of product development, overseas sourcing, manufacturing process, importing and costing.
• Experience in the promotional product industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and to work effectively in a team approach.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Computer applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, and SAP.
