FC Tulsa jobs Sports Jobs in Tulsa OK Event Management: Event Operations/Management **Position Description** The Merchandise Assistant will assist in managing the FC Tulsa team store & e-commerce platforms. Working under the guidance of the full-time Merchandise Manager, this position will have a unique experience with FC Tulsa's online store, newly-built brick-and-mortar store, and event sales. This person must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal applicant will be a self-starter, curious about all aspects of merchandising, and be ready to take on new challenges. The desire to be part of a start-up and build something special is required.

The Merchandise team is responsible for creating strong brand affinity within and beyond the Tulsa fan base, maintaining brand integrity across all USL consumer product licensees and vendors, and facilitating all consumer product needs for the club.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Assist in maintaining inventory and ensure items are in stock and labeled correctly.

* Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service each time they shop with FC Tulsa.

* Manage and fulfill e-commerce sales timely and efficiently.

* Keep retail locations and surrounding spaces clean, sanitized and safe.

* Assist in assuring proper execution of product set-up and visual merchandising strategies.

* Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays.

* Assist with setting up and fulfillment of special events, and other stadium operation functions.

* Collaborate with staff on special events, projects, and game days if needed.

* Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications:**

* A passion for sports and fan engagement!

* Experience in retail required.

* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally

* Must have own reliable mode of transportation

* Able to lift at least 50 pounds

* Bilingual preferred but not required.

* Available 15-20 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and game days.

* Must be able to be in Tulsa when scheduled each week. This position is not eligible to be done remotely.
