Job DescriptionHill International is seeking a MEP Project Manager in New York, New YorkResponsibilities
  • Oversee the MEP design, construction, and commissioning processes for large facility projects, ensuring collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Lead all aspects of MEP project management, from concept and design to commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, contracts, and design/construction/commissioning plans.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with all project parties to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project objectives.
  • Perform site inspections and meetings to monitor progress, solve problems, and enforce quality control and commissioning procedures.
  • Manage project finances, including budget forecasting, expense tracking, and ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Solve MEP-related issues through effective problem-solving and decision-making, minimizing impacts on project timelines and costs.
  • Keep updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure MEP designs are cutting-edge, efficient, and compliant.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring transparent communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing MEP design, construction, and commissioning for large facilities, with a demonstrated history of successful project completion with projects in excess of $100M.
  • Must be willing to work full time on site in New York. Will eventually work full time onsite at the project site in New Jersey.
  • GMP contract experience is desired, not required.
  • Expert knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, industry standards, and commissioning processes.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications, along with specific training or certification in commissioning is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000.
