Mentor Coordinator - Kentucky State University : Job Details

The Mentor Coordinator, a 12 Month Full-Time position, will be responsible for recruiting youths and mentors, facilitating matches, and providing careful case-management of matches and data for a caseload of mentors. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Assist the Program Director with recruiting, interviewing, and selecting mentors. Organize and facilitate mentor training, including cultural diversity and trauma-informed practices. Coordinate mentor and mentee activities, including planning enrichment events and group sessions. Support communication between parents, youth, mentors, staff, and community partners. Coordinate and monitor the matching of mentors with youth, making adjustments as needed. Facilitate monthly mentor meetings and provide ongoing support to strengthen mentor-mentee relationships. Meet as needed with staff from all target schools to ensure alignment and collaboration.
