Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Deliver personalized outpatient individual and family therapy, guiding clients through their unique healing journeys.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to empower clients in their mental health journeys.
  • Engage actively in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care through collaboration.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, adhering to the highest professional standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and fellow therapists, to provide holistic mental health care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • Provisional license per state regulation, if required.
  • Strong foundational education leading to professional licensing.
  • A genuine passion for mental health care and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development, including free supervision and ongoing education opportunities.
  • Desire to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to improve client outcomes.
  • Strong ethical commitments, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in practice.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Effective time management skills to complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.
