Mental Health Technician - United Healthcare : Job Details

Provides direct patient care related to biopsychosocial rehabilitation of the patient in the Behavioral Health setting. Activities include direct patient care as related to environment of care, safety issues, therapeutic communication and co-facilitation of groups. Utilizes effective communication skills. Position Work Location:Binghamton General Hospital Emergency Room and CPEP - Primary Department, Division, or Unit:Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP), UHS Binghamton General Hospital. Primary Work Shift:Evening. Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours:32 Compensation Range:$19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience-----Education/ Experience. Minimum Required:Associates Degree in Applied Science in Human Services or 4 years of experience in a Mental Health related field or inpatient hospital setting and completion of Abnormal Psych within 2 years of hire.
