TECHCN 14 - IPMH, MENTAL HEALTH TECH - 3412 JOB DUTIES Reports pertinent observations changes, and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate person (physician, manager, supervisor, etc.) Records these observations, changes and reactions accurately, concisely and legibly. Assists with planning and implementation of health teaching with patient and/or significant other and documents accurately. As required, and under supervision of RN, communicates with and serves as liaison between patient's family and physician. Assists with assessment of patient's condition and nursing needs. Based on those conditions and needs, assists with development and implementation of individual plan of care with revisions as patient's condition and needs change. Aware of psychiatric therapy for therapeutic and non- therapeutic effect. Maintains the standards of nursing care within the guidelines of the nursing department.
