Maintains safety and structure by observing and recording patient information pertinent to the treatment plan and reports information to appropriate staff. Works under nursing supervision. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to provide for an ongoing assessment of changes in patient status and gathers pertinent patient care data through rounding and patient interaction using all available resources in the inpatient or outpatient setting. (60%)Organizes patient care tasks according to priority and importance of tasks to be completed. (20%)Obtains vital signs and height and weight measurements. Provides crisis intervention on the unit to maintain safety. Responds to facility Code events.
