Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and their families, fostering a welcoming environment for all backgrounds.
  • Provide individualized outpatient therapy for individuals and families, focusing on their unique needs to promote healing and resilience.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support clients' stability and growth.
  • Actively engage in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care with your expertise.
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans, maintaining high professional standards.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to offer holistic mental health care.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Possess (or be able to obtain) adequate provisional licensing according to state regulations.
  • Have an educational background leading to professional licensing.
  • Show passion for mental health with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • Dedicate yourself to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education opportunities.
  • Demonstrate eagerness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance overall client care.
