Description The Fairfield Y is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Membership Representatives. This role is crucial in delivering a welcoming and supportive experience for all members and guests. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to member and guest needs with exceptional service in person and via phone.
- Conducting membership tours, selling memberships, and promoting YMCA programs.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the lobby area.
- Developing positive relationships with members, volunteers, and staff.
- Handling and resolving member concerns while adhering to YMCA policies.

- Be a high school graduate or equivalent (preferred).
- Have prior experience in customer service, sales, or related fields.
- Possess CPR/AED and First Aid certifications (or be willing to obtain them).
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Relate effectively to diverse groups of people from various backgrounds.
- Be observant, safety-conscious, and able to react calmly in emergencies.
- Have basic computer proficiency.
- Be available to work flexible schedules.
