Member Services Advocate

Annual Enrollment Period - Member Services Advocate to serve members by being an advocate and point of contact for member questions and concerns regarding benefits, eligibility, referrals, claims, and any other aspects of plan benefits and services. Must be able to ensure member satisfaction by providing superior customer service and a willingness to help at all times while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Language interpretation You will be expected to provide interpretation for incoming calls. The volume of these calls is not expected to be high but must be able to have a full conversation in Cantonese.

In the down time you will do some light admin work such as database cleanup / ad hoc projects, some light outbound calls.

Training on all admin duties and call expectations will be provided.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Call center experience is not required. Any customer service experience, at least 2 years: Healthcare, doctor office, dental office, or hospitality experience is a plus.

Language Requirements (in order of priority):

  • Cantonese
  • Mandarin
  • Vietnamese
  • Korean
  • Spanish - these will be the least prioritized

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
