Member Services Representative - Hybrid from Chicago IL LHH is currently hiring Member Service Representatives for our client in Chicago! This is a hybrid position, 2-3 days onsite per week. This role is responsible for accepting incoming calls from Members and assisting with questions regarding health plans, claim issues, and health plan enrollment. Summary, Hiring method: Contract to Hire Location: Hybrid from Chicago (Pilsen area) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8a-4p Hourly pay rate: $21/hour Responsibilities include, • Handling incoming calls from insurance plan members, physicians, or third party vendors • Documenting each call into internal system • Educating members on plan offerings, answering questions regarding out of pocket cost for medical procedures and services • Providing members with claim status as needed, answering claim questions Qualified candidates will possess, • 1 or more years of experience in a health insurance or healthcare call center environment • Ability to type 35 WPM or more • Excellent attendance and punctuality • Knowledge of, or ability to gain knowledge of health insurance practices and eligibility This is an hourly paid position with medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401k contributions available. Additional benefits including paid time off available when hired permanent.
