Member Experience Associate - Retro Fitness : Job Details

You will be the face of the club; the first person a member sees when they walk in and the first point of contact to create a welcoming environment.You need limitless energy and excellent multitasking skills. Do you have a positive, upbeat personality with great communication skills? Creating a memorable member experience requires versatility. You might be guiding prospects over the phone, making a Retro Smoothie for a member, or assisting members to ensure they have an exceptional experience. Ideal candidates will possess:A passion for helping others.A positive, upbeat personality.Effective communication skills with customers, coworkers, and managers.Ability to multitask effectively.Focus on member experience.Punctuality, responsibility, and attention to detail.CPR/AED training (preferred).Experience in retail or hospitality (helpful).The responsibilities of the Front Desk include but are not limited to:Greeting and checking in members.Resolving customer issues effectively.Membership sales and retention.Following up with prospects.Selling merchandise such as Retro Smoothies, cooler drinks, pro shop items, etc.Maintaining a safe and clean environment for members and staff.Opening and closing the facility as scheduled.Adhering to company policies and procedures.All Member Experience Associates are required to wear a company staff shirt with khaki or black athletic pants. Sneakers must be worn; boots, heels, or sandals are not permitted. Staff should be well-groomed and neat.Note on shifts: Opening staff should arrive 15 minutes before the club opens to complete the Opening Checklist.
