Overview

Meetings Director [5826]

Association located in Montgomery County seeks a permanent Meetings Director to oversee logistics of conferences and workshops.

Responsibilities

  • Direct onsite and virtual meeting logistics by overseeing registration, room set up, and audio-visual elements.
  • Manage registration process by establishing pricing set up and special offers.
  • Create timelines for planning committees.
  • Coordinate meeting sponsorship items and develop printed materials.
  • Develop event websites and coordinate webinars.
  • Implement education programs and learning management systems.

Qualifications

Experience using iMIS or similar CRM databases preferred.

  • Effectively manages and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Demonstrated professionalism.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Experience managing webinars and virtual events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, education, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a managerial or senior-level meetings position.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Salary

$90,000 - $120,000 per year.
