Meeting Coordinator
On-site in Chicago
This is a contract (maybe contract-to-hire) position starting ASAP and going through November
What you get to do
- Assist busy team in preparing for and executing a special upcoming office event
- Gather responses to emails
- Greet attendees and ensure a VIP experience
- Assist with meeting room set up/break down including audio visual and other technology
- Print badges and signage
- Coordinate food and beverage
- Other administrative needs associated with events as assigned by manger
Requirements
- 2+ years in professional/corporate meeting planning (not social/wedding planning)
- Knowledgeable about all facets of the meeting planning process from start to finish
- Savvy with technology including MS Office – event planning platforms highly desirable
- Positive personality and team-player
- Bachelor's degree
Fully onsite – super exciting environment with cutting edge technology (just outside the loop and accessible via public transportation + FREE parking)
Pay rate
- $28-$32/hour depending on experience
